I bought a tool pandora battery from dealextreme and then i made a mms and the green light wont come on?

When my psp tool pandora battery came in the mail from deal extreme i charged the battery and put it in the psp..blank screen. then i tried making a magic memory stick and then when i put the magic memory stick in with the tool battery the green light on the psp turns on for a few seconds and then turns off. Is my psp bricked? If not can someone please tell me how to fix it? And i have the God of war psp if that helps
