Rock star?
Ever since I was old enough to realize what a rock star was, I've wanted to be one. I've always loved music, and watching people play it appeals to me like nothing else in the world. I'm 14 years old and have been taking guitar lessons for 2 months. I live in a small town, and my parents expect me to become something like a Pharmacist... but that isn't what I want. It sounds ridiculous, but I really want to give it a shot. I'm into heavy metal music and me being a girl makes it seem funny in a sense... but what are your thoughts on it?
As long as you're commited to playing an instrument and your heart's really in it, you can be a rockstar no matter what your background's like. And don't worry about being a girl, there's lots of awesome women in rock music.
