On Facebook password recovery ("Recover through friends") - anybody know why not all friends are listed?
If you forget your password on facebook and no longer have access to the email accounts you initially used to create the account, then facebook has the option to "Recover through friends". Basically the idea is that you pick 3 trusted facebook friends, and facebook will email them a code, they all need to tell me what the code is, I then enter 3 codes and facebook returns the account to me. Now, my problem is that when I look through the friends list to pick my 3 most trusted friends (facebook says to pick trusted friends) I realise that not all of my friends are listed to nominate? Anyone know why this is? I've noticed that it has seemed to exclude friends that haven't been added very long - but they're the only friends on facebook i trust and I can't pick them! Anybody know if there's a certain period you need to have a friend added for before you can use them on the recover through friends tool? Thanks for reading all of this anyway!
