what type of glue should I use to adhere sketch paper to canvas?
This seems a little weird, but I am trying to adhere sketchbook paper to a canvas. I work in a collage- type style, and I want it to stick to the canvas without having any parts peeling. I'm hesitant to use rubber cement because of the pilling, and school glue because of the bubbling. I don't want to use glue sticks because they won't adhere well enough and I hate spray mount. Any other suggestions?

Actually I have adhere paper and fabric to a canvas and I would suggest you do NOT use glue!
What you need is a medium instead A varnish or other polyurethane would work. You can get a fancy one from galleria or liquitex, or even the small rounds craft varnish from wallmart.
